Yukako Kato

Yukako Kato is a Tokyo-based graphic designer and visual artist known for her dreamy color palettes and a unique world-view built through self-taught design mastery. A graduate of Seikei University in English and American Literature, Yukako’s perspective has been shaped by her experiences living in the USA and New Zealand, where she developed a deep fascination with cross-cultural communication.

Currently balancing a professional career as a subtitle production director for live broadcasting with her passion for design, Yukako applies her "ability to choose words" and "contextual interpretation" to her visual work. Her art seeks to express emotions and nuances that words alone cannot capture. Beyond graphic design, Yukako is an active creator of ZINES and an explorer in photography, writing, and DJing, frequently showcasing her work at international art book fairs.
