Po Chen, also known as APO, is an award-winning Taiwanese photographer whose work captures the profound dialogue between land, nature, and humanity. In 2016, he became the first Taiwanese artist signed by the global photography gallery YellowKorner. With a career spanning over a decade, his lens explores everything from the rugged coastlines of Taiwan to the spiritual Horizontals of India. Tzu-Chun Chang Illustrator & Picture Book Creator Tzu-Chun holds an MA in Children’s Book Illustration from the Cambridge School of Art and a BA in Motion Pictures from the National Taiwan University of Arts. She loves philosophy, nature, traveling the world, and doing fun things with interesting people. Her creative themes mostly revolve around the relationships between individuals and others in ordinary, everyday life. She excels at weaving a sense of time and narrative into her imagery, leaving ample room for the viewer's imagination. Her work has been featured domestically and internationally, receiving recognition from global awards such as the Bologna Children's Book Fair "The Children-Spectators" contest, the US 3x3 International Illustration Show, and the UK Macmillan Prize for Illustration. Her debut picture book, Today is the Day, was selected for the 2022 BRAW Amazing Bookshelf (BolognaRagazzi Award). She has also published the picture book Quién Soy in Spain, which has sold translation rights in multiple countries. Hsu Peng Hsiung
Hsu Peng Hsiung is a contemporary Taiwanese illustrator and storyteller currently pursuing advanced studies in illustration at UMPRUM (Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design) in Prague, Czech Republic. With a background in journalism from Shih Hsin University, Hsu brings a unique narrative depth to his visual work, believing that "life is a beautiful story worth telling for a lifetime".
His artistic style is characterized by a playful, nonsensical, and slightly mischievous tone—often described as humorous and bold. John Henry Twachtman (1853–1902)
was a major figure in American Impressionism, best known for lyrical landscapes and an exceptionally subtle treatment of light and atmosphere. He first studied civil engineering at United States Military Academy, but soon turned to art, training with Frank Duveneck before continuing his education in Europe. His years at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich shaped an early preference for tonal depth and painterly brushwork, while later study at Académie Julian refined his palette into softer, silvery harmonies. After returning to the United States, Twachtman settled in Greenwich and became closely associated with the Cos Cob art colony, a key center for East Coast Impressionism. Rather than pursuing grand subjects, he repeatedly painted the intimate world around his home—waterfalls, gardens, snow scenes—often revisiting the same motifs across changing seasons. These series reveal an artist drawn to mood and quiet transformation, where muted color and delicate tonal shifts create a strong sense of place.
