藝術家— 威廉·莫里斯（William Morris）十九世紀最具影響力的設計師。
英國藝術與工藝美術運動的領導人之一。世界知名的家具、壁紙花樣和布料花紋的設計者兼畫家。他同時是一位小說家和詩人，也是英國社會主義運動的早起發起者之一。
威廉．莫里斯（W. Morris, 1834-96），十九世紀中葉英國美術工藝運動推動者，倡導藝術與日常生活的結合，仿中世紀籌組商會，召集同好，並將設計量產，商品領域含括壁紙、掛毯印花設計、教堂裝飾、家具、玻璃器皿與金銀細工等，是往後歐洲興起新藝術運動的先驅，同時開啟了藝術家多元性參與設計領域的潮流。
