THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE ART
Ikumi Nakada
1 WORK
Ikumi Nakada received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Seijo University in 2005 and graduated from Tokyo's Vantan Design Institute in 2007. With delicate brushwork, she depicts children and revisits the innocence of childhood memory. Her portrayals draw on observations of children's behavior, connecting those observations with her own memories and channeling them into works made with soft colors and textures.
