About the artist / XINs
Born in Taiwan in 1991. I am Xin, an artist working primarily in printmaking. I studied architecture at university and began making art after graduation.
A print takes a long time to make from start to finish. Alongside printmaking, I also draw with crayons, pencils, and other materials I can pick up and use at any moment. For me, drawing is like a process of making myself transparent and seeing what my inner world looks like. As I think about how to express the world as I experience it, I also secretly hide little clues in the image, as though playing a game.

Mounting method: basic mounting + mat board (a window mat is placed in front of the work so that only the artwork is visible)
Because paint may inevitably get onto the white areas of the paper during printmaking, mat board is added to every work in this series.
* You may choose to show only the artwork or retain the original signature (the visible framed area will be slightly larger).
* The artwork will be mounted flat on a backing board to prevent it from warping due to moisture.
* If you upgrade to acid-free mat board, acid-free adhesive dots will be used to hold the print in place; it can still be separated from the backing board and removed.
A. Mat board opening option A: image only
B. Mat board opening option B: leave a 1 cm gap around the work to reveal the signature.
